What a beautiful reflection. Art is not a product of a machine and is not here to feed the algorithm.
It is very interesting to witness how we humans, no, not all humans. The artists fight to preserve their humanity despite all the push towards humans losing that humanity in the name of efficiency and productivity.
Exactly—the normalisation of instant gratification and hurried turnovers tend to blind us from the true purpose of art, and that it is a blessed tool and not just a byproduct. I believe that every time we honor where we are and really live in the present is when we truly immerse into our artistry 💗💐 Thanks so much for reading, Nataliya, it means a lot!! 🥹💕
Back when, women juggled with few resources and put a lot on hold. I did, and just spent months going through years of notes. What a mess. I'm glad todays generation has an outlet. Use it. Don't let it use you. It was called "sequencing" rather than juggling. Some old reads are 'What's a Smart Woman like you doing At Home' (1992) and 'Discovering Motherhood', (1991) now still applicable to current workforce options. I'm hoping to post sooner than later. Much success.
Sorry, Elfie, I really don't know how I missed this one 😭. This was a great read and, as always, incredibly meaningful. You always capture my attention and your words make me envious! Continue writing! ❤️
My sweet silly Dea!!! 🥹🫂💗 It's okayyy!! Though it lights up my heart knowing that you're always there to read my silly little lalala's too hehe 🥹💗 thank you, my tender poem writing queen! Xxxx
This was a great read—I resonated so much with the depression, work, finances, other detours and the weight of creative drought. I’ve felt like I ‘lost’ so many years, always believing that after the next turn, I’d clear the brush and finally have the space to create the way I always dreamed. But the energy was so fleeting, slipping before I could grasp it. This is a reminder that the path is never as linear as we hope, but how that’s part of the process
Precisely!! 🥹🫂 What an honour it is to be storytellers and transmute the abstract into something more vivid by living authentically and openly! 💐💖 the happiest that it found you 🥹💌
